Plans and oversees HVAC plant room retrofit projects, managing budgets, resources, risks, safety, quality, schedules, stakeholders, vendors, and customer expectations. Conducts site surveys, evaluates operating parameters, supports equipment selection, develops retrofit estimates and bills of quantity, and assists sales with technical proposals, solution design, specifications, and commercial presentations.

Tests embedded software for commercial HVAC products by analyzing requirements, creating functional test cases and automated scripts, executing formal and exploratory testing, reviewing test procedures, reporting defects, validating fixes, and enhancing test automation tools. The role also estimates testing resources and schedules, collaborates with engineering teams, and applies knowledge of embedded controls, HVAC systems, quality assurance, and software testing methodologies.

Leads and develops an electrical design team, manages timecard approvals, assigns projects, drives performance and growth, conducts evaluations, provides coaching, and supports decisions on promotions and compensation. The role also ensures project timelines, goals, and standard work procedures are followed while fostering a positive team culture.

Responsible for HVAC equipment selection, configuration, validation, pricing, submittals, order entry, and project cost reconciliation. Reviews plans and specifications, identifies savings opportunities and cost issues, supports sales, negotiates vendor pricing, and provides technical support for equipment installation, startup, warranty service, and controls. The role also manages equipment-related project budgets and requires collaboration with vendors, sales, and project teams.

Coordinate and support multiple smaller-scale equipment supply projects, handling planning, scheduling, order and financial tracking, customer communication, administrative tasks, and occasional on-site technician support to ensure timely execution and client satisfaction.

Validate and optimize HVAC equipment selection, pricing, and submittals for projects; identify cost savings and scope issues; support sales, vendor negotiations, order entry, startup, warranty, and technical installation support.

Lead product security for residential HVAC controls and connected devices: perform threat modeling, secure design reviews, penetration testing, SAST/DAST/SCA/fuzz testing, manage vendors, lead incident response and Security Champions, and advise on product security requirements and risks.

Perform product and OT-focused security engineering: vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, CVSS scoring, security audits, threat modeling, and SDLC integration. Produce reports for management/regulators, mentor junior staff, and recommend security posture improvements while promoting security awareness.

Validate and optimize HVAC equipment selection, pricing, and configurations; evaluate cost savings and project risks; prepare and release submittals; negotiate vendor pricing; prepare orders and reconcile job costs; support sales and provide technical installation, start-up, warranty, and controls support for customer satisfaction.

Lead complex manufacturing, automation, capacity, and productivity initiatives from concept through implementation. Provide technical leadership for processes, equipment, and systems, manage capital projects, develop budgets and schedules, and partner cross-functionally to build scalable manufacturing capabilities. Mentor engineers and present business cases to plant and business leaders.
