The Subject Matter Expert II will provide support to DARPA's Microsystems Technology Office by managing projects, assessing technical progress, and coordinating meetings. Responsibilities include risk analysis, technical support, and developing communication materials related to national security.

The Scientist/Engineer III will provide onsite support to DARPA's MTO by leading project management, technical analysis, and coordinating test efforts, ensuring adherence to best practices.

Manage and harden the enterprise identity backbone: administer Microsoft Active Directory/ADFS, oversee PKI and certificate lifecycle, monitor systems and logs, integrate hybrid Azure AD, support IAM features (SSO, MFA), document procedures, and collaborate on cross-functional identity and security projects.

Deploy, manage, and improve enterprise authentication systems (MFA and modern protocols). Integrate MFA with AD/AAD/SSO, troubleshoot authentication failures, enforce MFA policies and zero-trust controls, evaluate new authentication technologies, and document configurations while supporting cross-functional teams and end users.

Design, build, and maintain AI-driven full-stack solutions and microservices; implement CI/CD and automation; develop model deployment pipelines; leverage data, cloud, and LLM/RAG/vector DB technologies; provide technical leadership and support for commercial accounts.

Serve as a hands-on SME to architect, deploy, administer, secure, troubleshoot, and sustain production Red Hat OpenShift clusters across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises DoD environments. Own lifecycle activities, perform root cause analysis, integrate storage, networking, CI/CD and GitOps, maintain ATO security compliance, mentor engineers, and advise leadership on architecture and technical tradeoffs.

Supports technology acquisition projects for USPS by maintaining plans, schedules, budgets, documentation, status reports, risks, issues, meetings, communications, and action items. Coordinates project teams, stakeholders, and vendors; assists with change management, deliverables, adherence to project methodologies, and project closure activities. The role requires four onsite days per week in Merrifield, Virginia.

Provides remote administrative support for Marine Operations by overseeing mariner time and attendance, resolving leave, pay, and travel issues, processing personnel actions, and coordinating travel authorizations, reservations, and vouchers for professional mariners and NOAA Corps Officers.
