Leads the Propulsion program management organization for an aerospace portfolio, overseeing program execution, cost, schedule, staffing, technical performance, customer relationships, contracts, risk management, and compliance. Leads requirements development, decomposition, traceability, architecture reviews, verification and validation planning, testing coordination, risk management, and systems engineering documentation within an MBSE environment. Coordinates multidisciplinary engineering teams, program management, customers, and external stakeholders across the full lifecycle from preliminary design through testing and delivery.

Leads a 10–15-person embedded software engineering section while serving as a technical contributor on communications programs. Responsibilities include staffing, recruiting, training, performance management, career development, compensation coordination, conflict resolution, and software process improvement. Approximately 80% of the role supports embedded communications systems within Fighter Networked Systems and Advanced Communications, including real-time, multithreaded, secure software and engineering execution.

Lead systems engineering for propulsion hardware supporting launch vehicles, missile systems, and space missions. Develop system architectures, requirements, traceability, verification plans, and MBSE artifacts using Cameo. Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams, program leadership, customers, and external stakeholders. Lead technical reviews, risk and opportunity meetings, testing activities, requirements decomposition, and subsystem-level integration, verification, and delivery across the lifecycle.

Develops, edits, and maintains aerospace maintenance and user manuals, structured authoring environments, IETM data modules, and cable and wiring functional flow diagrams. Collaborates with engineering and sustainment teams on authoring workflows, prompts, compliance with military standards, and single-source repositories. Performs technical validation, publishing, and accuracy checks while supporting customer verification events. Requires specialized IETM and S1000D experience, technical authoring software proficiency, and eligibility for a U.S. Secret clearance.

Leads multidisciplinary engineering teams developing expendable air-breathing weapons, including subsonic, supersonic, and hypersonic platforms. Serves as technical authority, controls requirements, integrates engineering disciplines, interfaces with customers and senior leadership, chairs technical reviews, manages technical risks, and ensures performance within cost and schedule. Provides mission engineering, design-trade, systems engineering, mentoring, and technical direction across research, development, demonstration, production, and sustainment activities.
