Designs, develops, tests, integrates, operates, and maintains embedded software and firmware for defense systems. Responsibilities include software architecture, requirements, coding, debugging, integration on target hardware, and lifecycle support using C++, scripting languages, Linux or VxWorks, Agile or Waterfall methods, version control, and planning tools. The role collaborates with customers, suppliers, users, and technical teams and supports complex systems involving multithreading, distributed processing, multicore, and secure processing.

Develop and optimize radar digital signal processing software for identifying and tracking objects in geosynchronous orbit. Responsibilities include designing, testing, debugging, and documenting software; developing DSP algorithms and pipelines; optimizing GPU-accelerated workloads with CUDA and NVIDIA MatX; collaborating with hardware and multidisciplinary engineering teams; and applying AI-enabled development tools while maintaining code quality and accountability.

Design, develop, verify, and test missile flight software and simulation toolchains. Perform six-degree-of-freedom modeling, flight dynamics, autopilot and guidance design, trajectory optimization, system performance analysis, trade studies, root cause analysis, and simulation model validation. Collaborate with systems engineering, GNC, and test teams while supporting verification, validation, accreditation, and configuration management.

Leads Sentinel Specialty Engineering across program segments, integrated product teams, and subcontractors. Directs specialty engineering requirements, processes, governance, compliance, budgeting, reporting, and model-based digital engineering. Provides technical oversight for human systems integration, nuclear hardness and survivability, electromagnetic environmental effects, and system safety. Coordinates engineering reviews, change boards, customer engagements, and independent deliverable assessments while mentoring technical leaders and advising program leadership.

Leads interdisciplinary teams developing electronic warfare and mission integration subsystems. Responsibilities include architecture, requirements development and traceability, supplier technical management, risk mitigation, hardware/software integration, trade studies, performance analysis, system testing, and customer coordination. The engineer designs and verifies avionics and EW systems for airborne platforms while producing technical specifications, statements of work, and integration documentation.

Provides strategic HR partnership to manufacturing and business management teams. Advises leaders on talent strategy, performance management, employee relations, organizational effectiveness, compensation, succession planning, leadership development, and change management. Analyzes HR and business data, leads complex investigations, mitigates employee relations risks, and executes concurrent HR projects and process improvements.

Design mechanical systems and launcher hardware using CAD, conduct trade studies, generate engineering drawings, support fabrication and assembly testing, resolve production issues, coordinate with vendors, and manage technical tasks, schedules, and proposals. The role requires onsite work four days per week, occasional domestic travel, and eligibility for a Secret clearance.
