Provide Tier 3 VDI/Windows desktop support: diagnose and remediate complex Windows 10/11 issues, manage imaging/deployment (SCCM, MDT), apply patches, perform root-cause analysis, document resolutions, train lower-tier staff, support projects and system upgrades, and maintain security/compliance (TS/SCI w/Poly).

Develop and maintain system management infrastructure software and services for High Performance Computing (HPC) systems on Linux. Automate processes with Bash and Python, manage containers, CI/CD pipelines, secrets, IAM, and DCIM tools, and use Ansible and Git for deployment and source control.

Design, define, and maintain Linux system architecture; provide Tier III support for patches and updates; test baselines in the Engineering Operations Facility; develop Enterprise Technical Procedures and OS lifecycle plans; ensure STIG/DISA compliance and monitor solutions via centralized alerting. Provide systems engineering support for Intelligence Community enterprise systems. Requires active TS/SCI with polygraph and US citizenship. Responsibilities include systems analysis, design, development, deployment and lifecycle support, ensuring compliance with enterprise architecture, cost analysis, project management (Agile/Waterfall/Spiral), requirements elicitation and tracking, team leadership, and researching emerging OS and IT technologies. Onsite in Chantilly, VA, with occasional travel.

Provide day-to-day IT and information assurance support for Collateral/SCI/SAP environments: maintain servers, firewalls, networks and security monitoring; perform account management, patching, hardware/software configuration, VTC administration, COMSEC/media control, prepare and review authorization packages, identify vulnerabilities and implement countermeasures, and support help desk and troubleshooting in a 24/7 shift setting.

Manage, tune, and secure PostgreSQL databases including HA, backups, migrations, monitoring, and schema design. Support upgrades, patching, alerts, documentation, and on-call rotations while collaborating with developers and evaluating tools.

Maintain and control enterprise IT infrastructure baselines and configuration items, manage version-controlled documentation repositories, track configuration changes, support change management and knowledge management to ensure consistent, auditable configuration across DoD/IC environments.
