Lead the engineering team to deliver complex integration work packages for military avionics and communications projects. Provide technical leadership, systems engineering oversight, risk management, supplier liaison, and coordination with programme management and customers to meet schedule, cost, and performance requirements.

Manage project-level financial control for defence avionics programmes: prepare EACs, revenue recognition, forecasts, variance analysis, bid costing/pricing, UK/US GAAP reporting, ad-hoc statutory analyses, and communicate risks/opportunities to management while supporting senior accounting leads.

Lead and deliver avionic or naval programmes across bid, development, production and support phases. Manage schedule, cost, performance, customer relationships, financial targets, KPIs and pursuit of follow-on business. Participate in bids and proposals, ensuring contractual SOW delivery and OTAD targets.

Design and implement secure system architectures for air and naval platforms. Conduct threat modeling, vulnerability assessments and technical security testing (OS, containers, applications). Develop security controls, SBOMs, and SA&A artifacts, author Security Test Procedures, support audits, and mentor junior staff.

Lead systems engineering for safety-critical avionic mission computing products across full lifecycle: requirements, MBSE modelling, verification, risk management, certification, and cross-discipline coordination to deliver modular, auditable designs.

Perform system integration verification and validation in a lab and field environment: develop test plans/cases, automate tests, configure systems, troubleshoot networks and radio systems, support test events, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
