Designs, develops, and troubleshoots high-throughput laboratory automation workflows and orchestration systems. Builds instrument drivers, hardware abstraction layers, monitoring and alerting, digital lab representations, and integrations with LIMS and ELNs. Build automated verification tests, accelerate algorithms with GPU hardware, and support software development lifecycle and Design Control processes. Collaborate with research, algorithm, and interdisciplinary teams to improve reliable software used in genomic research and disease diagnostics.

Lead cybersecurity initiatives for medical device instrument-control software. Perform risk assessments, vulnerability analysis, secure design reviews, penetration-test oversight, mitigation tracking, security documentation, and product-security presentations. Advise development teams on secure software patterns, cloud security, cybersecurity regulations, and maintaining product security throughout the lifecycle while collaborating with Roche’s Product Security and Privacy Organization.

Installs, validates, maintains, calibrates, and repairs diagnostic instruments at customer sites. Troubleshoots technical issues, documents service activities, manages spare-parts inventory, trains customers and internal stakeholders, and handles support cases. Collaborates with engineering and global support teams, contributes to cross-functional projects, and ensures compliance, quality, and customer satisfaction. Requires domestic and occasional international travel, on-call availability, and a valid driver’s license with personal vehicle.
