Manage a team of commercial production underwriters for Cyber/E&O, execute strategic plans, meet regional goals and metrics, support sales/marketing, recruit and develop underwriting talent, improve workflows and ensure compliance with underwriting policies.

The Senior Actuarial Analyst will conduct analyses, provide actuarial insights, mentor junior actuaries, and influence management decisions in underwriting and profitability.

Lead underwriting operations and strategy to improve efficiency, enable automation and analytics, partner with IT and business leaders to drive portfolio performance, governance, and scalable underwriting capabilities. Oversee process improvements, technology investments, reporting, and cross-functional initiatives to support profitable growth and operational excellence.

Manage a portfolio of customer accounts including account maintenance, reconciliation of unapplied cash, resolving payment discrepancies, and communicating with agents, brokers, and customers to approve payment terms and resolve disputes while meeting accuracy and productivity goals.

Serve as the main contact for agents and brokers, assist with account servicing, ensure accurate documentation, communicate with team members, and support underwriting tasks. Engage in continuous improvement and maintain relationships across business units.

Lead actuarial strategy and analysis for the Workers Compensation segment, overseeing pricing, profitability monitoring, portfolio analytics, and forecasting. Partner with Underwriting, Claims, Finance, and senior leadership to evaluate loss trends, drive pricing and reinsurance decisions, and present actionable insights. Manage and mentor actuarial staff and contribute to cross-functional strategic initiatives.

Support state insurance regulatory compliance by preparing and submitting rate, rule and form filings; responding to state Department of Insurance inquiries; interpreting state laws; coordinating with underwriting, legal, and bureaus (ISO/AAIS); investigating consumer complaints; supporting examinations; and maintaining procedures to ensure regulatory approval and accurate implementation of underwriting processes.

Provide HR administration across the employee lifecycle: maintain HRIS data, process starters/leavers/changes and payroll updates, support employee relations administration, produce routine reports, maintain confidential records, respond to routine queries, and help improve HR processes.
