Develops and improves manufacturing processes, tooling, equipment, and machine designs for ammunition production. Troubleshoots production issues, implements cost reductions, reviews drawings and bills of materials, processes engineering changes, supports new product introduction, and manages major equipment failure projects, including capital justification, redesign, execution, documentation, spending, and resources. Work may involve hazardous flammables and explosives with required safety training.

Design, program, and commission PLC-based controls and HMI/SCADA for automated manufacturing. Integrate vision systems, robotics, servo motion, and lasers; ensure NEC/OSHA compliance and machine safety. Lead projects full lifecycle, troubleshoot electrical/mechanical/vision systems, integrate machine data with MES/IT, and mentor team members while developing technical documentation and standards.
