Develop and maintain relationships with licensed health insurance brokers to sell small-group (2-50) health products. Prospect, execute RFPs, manage full sales cycle, recruit/train producers, support enrollment, monitor agent performance, communicate product/rate changes, use internal sales tracking systems, and travel the territory (up to 20%). Obtain required Life/A&H license(s).

Provide advanced life insurance, estate, and business planning consultation to financial professionals; drive sales of Nationwide Life products; design cases, develop compliant educational content, present at industry events, train wholesalers/advisors, monitor legal and tax changes, and collaborate with internal partners to support distribution and marketing.

Build, test, maintain, and enhance life insurance actuarial models to support valuation, pricing, forecasting, asset adequacy, and risk management. Implement new products and regulatory changes, run and review production results, drive automation and process improvements, partner with stakeholders on modeling needs, perform financial reporting, reinsurance analysis, and lead peer reviews and training.

Lead actuarial technology and data strategy, modernize data platforms (Snowflake/Databricks), guide actuarial tools and models, partner with IT and business stakeholders, influence adoption of AI, support pricing, risk analysis, product design reviews, and reporting to senior leadership.

Serve as the technical underwriting authority for Middle Market multinational commercial accounts. Lead industry-specific underwriting strategy, review complex referrals, set pricing and risk-selection standards, partner with actuarial, claims, risk engineering and field teams, support reinsurance and portfolio management, mentor underwriters, and drive profitable growth and consistency across assigned industry segments.
