Evaluate capital expenditures, automation, insourcing, outsourcing, expansion, and location business cases while identifying and executing initiatives that improve operational and cost performance.

Develops cost models, tracks KPIs and profit improvement, establishes cost targets, evaluates capital expenditures and sourcing decisions, and guides cross-functional engineering, supply chain, design, and manufacturing decisions. Leads operational improvement initiatives and supports senior leadership through quantitative analysis, business cases, and implementation of recommendations.

Develop mission-critical software for Starshield’s GNC organization, including payload management, orbital prediction, system-performance analysis, and distributed systems tools for large spacecraft constellations. Responsibilities span requirements definition, prototyping, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing operational support. The role requires collaboration across engineering teams and may involve extended hours or weekend work supporting critical development and on-orbit operations.
