Responsibilities include synthesis, floorplanning, power-grid generation, place and route, timing, noise, physical verification, electromigration, voltage-drop analysis, logic equivalency, and signoff closure. The engineer also develops physical-design automation, resolves timing and congestion issues, and collaborates with ASIC teams on architecture, power, area, and timing tradeoffs.

Develops physical implementation for next-generation ASICs, including synthesis, floorplanning, power grid generation, place and route, timing, noise, physical verification, electromigration, voltage drop, and signoff closure. The engineer also improves physical design methodologies and automation scripts, collaborates on architectural feasibility and RTL tradeoffs, and resolves timing, congestion, and implementation flow issues.

Build and optimize data pipelines, backend services, forecasting systems, dashboards, and automated workflows supporting Starlink ground-network inventory, logistics, deployment, and reliability. Integrate ERP/MRP and logistics systems, manage hardware demand forecasting, improve supply-chain processes, monitor operational metrics, and support emergency deployments. The role requires collaboration across engineering, infrastructure, logistics, and program teams, with up to 25% travel and occasional extended or weekend hours.

Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for SpaceX launch and recovery programs. Responsibilities include supplier evaluation, negotiations, RFIs/RFPs, contract management, purchase orders, cost reduction, market analysis, supplier performance, make-versus-buy decisions, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement. The role manages multimillion-dollar contracts and supports supply continuity, quality, delivery, pricing, and risk objectives.

Leads Starlink’s global network interconnection strategy, including peering, transit, Internet exchange, caching, routing, redundancy, and capacity planning. Builds technical and commercial relationships with peering partners, evaluates connectivity opportunities, develops policies, and automates interconnection workflows. Collaborates with engineering and operations teams to improve routing performance, reliability, telemetry, incident response, and cost efficiency. Requires on-call availability, extended hours as needed, and 10–15% domestic and international travel.
