Leads enterprise network engineering design, testing, deployment, and infrastructure integrity across WAN, LAN, DNS, wireless, enterprise tools, and cloud environments. Provides subject matter expertise and advanced technical support to team members and government stakeholders. The role also engineers secure cloud connectivity and manages software-defined networking, identity and access management, mobility, imaging, collaboration, cloud hosting, and communications solutions in classified federal environments.

Coordinates with engineers, site personnel, customers, vendors, and security teams; performs remote and on-site testing; recommends enhancements; and documents architectures and configurations. Requires extensive networking experience, Security+ certification, and an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Administer and integrate Linux, UNIX, and Windows systems, networks, storage, and virtual environments. Configure infrastructure, troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues, provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, optimize capacity and performance, and contribute to systems and mission-architecture design within SOA environments. Communicate technical issues and resolutions to management and internal customers while maintaining reliable mission infrastructure.

Administer and support enterprise virtual desktop environments across multiple geographic locations and enclaves. Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for Citrix and Azure Virtual Desktop, monitor infrastructure health and capacity, troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues, implement patches and upgrades, manage backups, certificates, licenses, and Group Policy deployments, and develop operational documentation. The role also supports modernization efforts, incident analysis, maintenance windows, after-hours mission-critical outages, and mentoring junior administrators.

Leads hands-on administration, security, monitoring, and maintenance of Windows and Linux infrastructure in a classified environment. Oversees RMF compliance, STIG implementation, vulnerability remediation, incident response, audits, documentation, change control, and continuous monitoring. Coordinates team priorities, manages personnel activities, mentors administrators and engineers, delivers security training, and partners with ISSM and FSO personnel on authorization and security investigations.

Provide Level 2/3 systems administration for a virtual data centre supporting geospatial programs: maintain Linux (RHEL) and Windows Server environments, manage virtual servers (vSphere, AppV), script with PowerShell/Python, create MECM advertisements/collections/packages, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with network, technical teams and stakeholders.

Design, implement, and secure network architectures including firewalls and VPNs; troubleshoot complex network and security incidents; mentor junior engineers; collaborate with customers and program management; administer production networks, monitor logs, produce health/performance reports, document root cause analyses and knowledge articles, and create automation and process improvements.

Designs, implements, and sustains enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure for DoD environments. Engineers Cisco routing/switching and Palo Alto firewall/GlobalProtect solutions, troubleshoots Layer 1-7 issues, supports MPLS/VPN connectivity, ensures RMF/STIG compliance, creates documentation, and participates in modernization and incident response for high-availability classified networks.

Lead administration and integration of complex software configuration management systems. Design and implement CM processes, maintain build/staging/test environments, create build scripts, integrate automated tools, run audits, produce metrics and reports, and support governance boards. Provide tool administration (ELM, Jenkins, Git, Maven, Eclipse), CM training, and change control for large technical programs, ensuring version control and configuration integrity across software and hardware lifecycles.
