Product and Privacy Counsel will lead Brex’s privacy program, advise on product and financial regulatory matters, negotiate data-related contracts, support global compliance with GDPR and CCPA, represent Brex with partners and regulators, manage outside counsel, and guide cross-functional teams on compliant innovation and risk mitigation.

Supports Brex’s private equity partnership channel by building outbound campaigns, researching firms and contacts, generating qualified meetings, and following up with PE partners. Analyzes portfolio company data using Hex and Excel, creates case studies and presentations, supports PE-backed opportunities, identifies expansion opportunities with Customer Success, and tracks campaign performance. The role is based in New York City with a hybrid schedule.

Provides strategic product, privacy, and financial regulatory counsel for a fintech company. Responsibilities include scaling privacy and data security programs, implementing global privacy compliance processes, negotiating data-related contracts, advising products throughout their lifecycle, representing the company with partners and regulators, managing compliance risks, and overseeing outside counsel.

Build and manage partnerships with VCs, accelerators, incubators and other startup-focused partners to drive top-of-funnel referrals.
