The Mortgage Originator works with customers to secure mortgage loans, assesses credit, markets mortgage products, and ensures compliance with regulations.

Originate and recommend FHA/VA and conventional residential mortgage loans. Interview and analyze applicants' financials and credit, issue pre-qualifications, market and cultivate referral sources, ensure SAFE Act and regulatory compliance, negotiate loan terms, and conduct community outreach.

Manage fund and grant accounting, payroll administration, budgeting, reconciliations, reporting, audit and tax support for Buffalo Promise Neighborhood and Westminster Community Charter School. Track allocations, ensure grant compliance, prepare monthly financial statements, perform variance analysis, and support senior management and auditors. Serve as primary financial contact for grant administration and participate in cross-functional initiatives to improve processes and controls.

Manages a complex portfolio of large dollar loan and deposit relationships, provides financial analysis, and consults on business opportunities while ensuring high portfolio quality.

Leads independent technology, cybersecurity, and data control testing, including control design and operating effectiveness assessments, remediation validation, risk-based testing plans, regulatory engagement support, issue evaluation, training, and management reporting. Partners with risk and control owners to challenge risk assessments, control coverage, testing scope, and remediation effectiveness. Serves as a subject matter expert and may present findings to regulators.

Provides first-line risk advisory leadership for enterprise operations, institutional services, wealth management, and commercial lending. Responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, evaluating controls, leading remediation initiatives, developing risk reporting and KRIs, supporting regulatory and audit activities, and advising senior leaders on operational, compliance, and emerging risks. The role leads a team of four or more risk professionals and strengthens governance, operational resilience, and risk-informed decision-making.
