Leads commercial insurance underwriting and new business production across a Pacific Northwest region through 8–12 matrixed underwriters. Responsibilities include deal approval, productivity management, coaching, profitability and production analysis, market strategy, distribution partnerships, audit and compliance oversight, authority delegation, talent management, and hiring support. The role drives revenue growth, ensures underwriting execution, develops business plans, and maintains internal and external relationships. Travel is required as needed.

Underwrite, price, quote and maintain new and renewal domestic casualty accounts within the PEO and Workers' Compensation space. Drive production, cultivate broker and client relationships, retain business via stewardship, adhere to pricing and file documentation standards, and support product line projects and operational tasks.

Provide customer-focused workers' compensation claim handling: investigate, evaluate, and manage claims from intake to resolution; communicate with injured workers, employers, and medical providers; document files, control costs, ensure compliance with state laws, and collaborate with legal, medical, and risk teams.

Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure for extraction, transformation, and loading. Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver analytics tools, optimize data delivery, enforce security and retention policies, and support data scientists and analytics teams.

Lead Bermuda entity finance operations including budgeting, forecasting, LDTI and BMA reporting. Oversee AP/AR, reconciliations, cash flow, and eBao systems. Define end-to-end processes, strengthen governance, drive process improvements for scalability, and partner with regional finance, FP&A, operations, and systems teams to ensure compliance and support product launches.

Investigate and manage workers' compensation claims end-to-end: evaluate injuries, set reserves, control medical costs, process benefit payments, document activity, follow statutory requirements, and deliver superior customer service while using multiple systems and vendor tools.

Support planning, research, coordination, and analysis for community-scale climate resilience initiatives. Conduct cost-benefit and catastrophe model–informed analysis, engage stakeholders, track project milestones, develop metrics, reports, case studies, and outreach materials to advance resilient projects and inform investment decisions.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications and backend services. Build and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database performance for MSSQL and Oracle. Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and business analysts on technical solutions. Troubleshoot production issues, ensure data integrity and security, and participate in code reviews, testing, documentation, database versioning, migrations, and cloud-based CI/CD initiatives.
