Lead mechanical design technical activities for body welding projects: interface with customer/suppliers, design layouts and fixtures, estimate hours, supervise team and suppliers, provide on-site technical support, and ensure process feasibility and cost-saving solutions.

Develop manufacturing processes and automation solutions for new systems. Collaborate with sales, project management, engineering, commissioning, and estimating to create competitive technical proposals. Create system layouts and process flows using CAD and support proposal development for powertrain, electrification, and battery assembly projects.

Develop and customize application-specific PLC ladder logic and HMI software, design software structure, and perform commissioning per CTL/PM project requirements and timelines. Ensure control system electrical design and motion control integration (inverters/servos); work with powertrain/EV systems and standard tools like TIA Portal, Siemens SiCar, and Ignition.

Manage enterprise PLM data and libraries in Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE. Define metadata schemas, naming conventions, lifecycles, and classification rules. Maintain part/BOM/version control, support ECR/ECO traceability, run upgrades/UAT, and ensure data quality for discoverability and supplier/engineering collaboration in automotive programs.

Develop and customize PLC ladder logic and HMI applications, design software structure, perform commissioning per project timelines, and support control system electrical design and motion control for EV/powertrain systems.

Lead projects from kick-off to final plant test, managing schedule, margin, quality, suppliers, risks and customer relationships. Build WBS and timing plans, oversee resources and finances, ensure EHS compliance, capture lessons learned, and support business development and technical selling for automation and robotics projects.

Install, wire, configure, program, and commission industrial robots on customer sites. Integrate robots with production lines, diagnose hardware/software issues, provide operator training, and perform regular maintenance support.

Lead mechanical design and technical execution from project kickoff through customer acceptance. Manage engineering schedules, resources, risk analysis, Make/Buy scope, ECRs, design reviews, documentation, operator training, and customer technical relationships. Drive lessons-learned, cost/timing reductions, and team performance evaluations. Support manufacturing recovery actions and define new, non-standard solutions.

Develop and commission robot application software; provide technical proposal support; perform software commissioning, robot simulation and virtual commissioning; support new device applications and robot vision integration for automotive powertrain/EV systems.

Manage EV powertrain assembly system projects end-to-end: kickoff through final test. Own schedule, margin, quality, customer relationship, WBS, resource allocation, supplier coordination, risk mitigation, lessons-learned, performance evaluation, EHS compliance, and occasional sales support for metal cutting projects. Travel required.
