Leads the strategic roadmap and technology deployment for advanced assembly, SMT manufacturing, and next-generation manufacturing processes. Designs, implements, deploys, supports, and troubleshoots automated manufacturing equipment and assembly lines. Programs PLCs and vision systems, designs electrical circuits and schematics, evaluates components, and develops troubleshooting and maintenance documentation. Partners with vendors, maintenance, operations, and customers to deploy automation solutions, manage spare parts and preventive maintenance, and identify improvement opportunities. The role is onsite in Austin, Texas, with up to 10% domestic travel.

Administer and govern PDM/PLM systems (Autodesk Vault, SolidWorks PDM, PTC Windchill). Ensure engineering data integrity, BOM and item/master alignment, troubleshoot multi-CAD issues, support upgrades, migrations, and governance activities, and collaborate with engineering, IT, manufacturing, and business stakeholders.

Manages test engineering activities, including test strategy, equipment and software development, calibration, test execution, data interpretation, reporting, and risk management. Leads testing teams, coordinates project phases, trains technicians, resolves yield and root-cause issues, and implements process improvements. The role also serves as a liaison among engineering, technical, and client teams while ensuring testing projects meet schedule, budget, quality, and safety expectations.

Administer, maintain, troubleshoot, and support enterprise business applications, including ERP, MES, HR, and financial systems. Manage Microsoft SQL Server databases, implement system enhancements, collaborate with vendors and internal teams, improve application performance and security, create reports and dashboards, and maintain technical and functional documentation.
