Generates new B2B business for WEX’s Valero fleet partner through high-volume cold calling, lead qualification, discovery, objection handling, proposals, and closing. Leads strategy, delivery, and operations for enterprise Kafka and eventing platforms within a PaaS environment. Oversees distributed systems architecture, reliability, security, automation, observability, compliance, and platform adoption across cloud environments. Manages engineering managers and senior engineers, establishes operational standards, partners across security and product organizations, and communicates platform strategy and outcomes to senior leadership.

Develop and maintain software for WEX Benefits solutions using C#, APIs, cloud infrastructure, microservices, event-driven architecture, and modern databases. Design, test, code, instrument, and support production systems with minimal supervision. Apply TDD and BDD, monitor system health, respond to incidents, identify performance improvements, and leverage AI-powered development tools. Mentor junior engineers, collaborate on architectural decisions, and promote maintainable, well-tested code and continuous engineering improvement.

Own and scale a multi-cloud data platform across AWS and Azure. Manage Apache Airflow, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, ArgoCD, CI/CD, observability, big data infrastructure, governance tooling, and FinOps initiatives. Provide end-to-end architectural and operational ownership, improve developer tooling, define platform roadmaps, manage incidents, enforce engineering standards, and mentor data platform engineers.
