Prepares federal and state income tax returns, consolidated book-tax differences, audit support, and responses to tax notices. Supports tax research, forecasting, fixed asset accounting, state apportionment, and other corporate tax projects. The role requires corporate tax or public accounting experience and familiarity with tax preparation and research software. It is primarily remote but limited to candidates within commuting distance of Phoenix, Arizona, with occasional in-person attendance.

Supports accounting and finance teams by monitoring Oracle financial-system interfaces, resolving errors, analyzing data, and producing financial reports. Partners with IT and business stakeholders on system enhancements, upgrades, testing, documentation, SOX controls, and process improvements. Uses SQL and Oracle reporting tools to analyze financial data, administer reconciliation and cash-management functionality, train users, and lead cross-functional projects.

Supports strategic initiatives and business transformation by documenting and redesigning processes, coordinating project milestones, dependencies, and deliverables, and providing change-management guidance. Analyzes financial metrics, risks, adoption, and performance measures across the strategic initiative portfolio. Partners with functional leaders and internal stakeholders to support decision-making, project execution, reporting, and organizational transitions.

Audits customer waste streams, records material and weight data, documents findings, and prepares audit reports. Coordinates audit logistics and travel, conducts client site visits, educates customers, monitors recycling and organics compliance, observes collection practices, enforces program requirements, and maintains customer records and activity reports.

Identifies and converts prospects into profitable commercial, industrial, recycling, and municipal waste-service customers. Responsibilities include lead follow-up, cold calling, sales presentations, relationship development, Salesforce activity tracking, competitive-market analysis, service and pricing knowledge, contract paperwork, and achievement of revenue targets. The Account Executive also expands existing accounts, attends industry and community events, and reviews performance and customer relationships with the Sales Manager.

Processes and audits accurate payroll for unionized, multi-state employees covered by numerous collective bargaining agreements. Calculates and reports union benefits, pension, 401K, dues, deductions, overtime premiums, retroactive pay, and special payments. Interprets CBAs, prepares payroll reports, maintains confidential payroll data, collaborates with HR and payroll teams, and supports payroll system testing, configuration, and knowledge transfer.

Manages full-cycle recruiting for corporate requisitions, including sourcing active and passive candidates, interviewing, candidate engagement, selection support, offer negotiation, and applicant tracking. Builds relationships with hiring managers, HR, universities, community organizations, professional networks, and other recruiting sources. Develops creative sourcing strategies, supports recruiting events, ensures legal and policy compliance, and maintains a positive candidate experience.
