Designs, develops, and supports embedded firmware and Linux platforms for industrial products. Responsibilities include bare-metal and RTOS development, bootloaders, OTA updates, secure boot, communications interfaces, hardware bring-up, lab debugging, CI/CD, testing, field support, and technical documentation. Collaborates across electrical, mechanical, cloud, manufacturing, and service teams while improving embedded engineering practices.

Ensures manufactured products meet safety, reliability, customer, and ISO 9001 quality standards. Develops quality criteria and capable processes, conducts audits and investigations, performs root cause analysis, manages CAPA and NCRs, maintains QMS documentation, trains production teams, and leads continuous quality improvement projects.

Lead mechanical design of components and subsystems from concept through production. Solve system-level issues, run feasibility, prototyping and testing, apply DFM/DFA, create 3D models and production documentation in SolidWorks, manage BOMs and engineering data in ERP, support tooling and manufacturing readiness, guide redesigns for regulatory or quality needs, and mentor junior staff.
