Provides customer-facing application engineering support across 3M’s Personal Safety Division portfolio in New Zealand. Conducts workplace assessments, product evaluations, demonstrations, field trials, troubleshooting, technical training, and product implementation support. Partners with Sales, Marketing, R&D, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and manufacturing on customer opportunities, new product introductions, product stewardship, compliance, and commercialization. Translates workplace hazards and customer needs into technical solutions while gathering market insights and identifying product growth opportunities.

Drive sales growth across assigned industrial accounts and territories, acquire new customers, develop applications, conduct product demonstrations, manage opportunities in Salesforce CRM, and expand 3M’s abrasives portfolio. Build relationships with key stakeholders, collaborate with channel partners and internal technical and marketing teams, and achieve sales targets across metal fabrication, automotive, casting, forging, and aerospace segments.

Perform FP&A reporting and analysis for sales, orders, gross margin, operating expenses, forecasts, and budgets. Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports, analyze financial drivers and variances, track key performance metrics, and develop dashboards for sales, orders, and inventory. Partner with finance leaders to standardize reporting, improve analytics, automate processes, and support stronger financial performance.

Leads Brazil marketing plan execution for 3M’s Abrasives portfolio, including budget management, demand planning, market penetration, digital lead generation, channel activation, and performance reporting. Coordinates with global, LATAM, sales, commercial operations, and marketing teams; presents results to executives; validates activities with customers and industry stakeholders; and identifies improvements to accelerate sales and business growth.

Plans semi-finished and finished goods across global value streams, coordinating supply through subcontractors and 3M plants. Identifies supply gaps, improves service, inventory, and cost performance, supports new product introductions, and leads planning process improvement initiatives. Collaborates with global supply chain operations and business teams while monitoring inventory, service, and cost KPIs.

Owns EBO product and manufacturing quality governance across sites and customer regions. Leads root-cause analysis, corrective actions, risk management, control-plan governance, quality reviews, defect classification, dashboards, and continuous improvement. Reviews product and process changes for quality impact, supports global issue triage, incorporates lessons learned, and partners with engineering, manufacturing, customer quality, site quality, and metrology teams. The role is primarily on-site in Maplewood, Minnesota, with up to 30% domestic or international travel.

Supports global tax accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, tax adjustments, month-end and year-end close, general ledger accuracy, cross-border withholding tax, filings, audits, and global tax reporting. Collaborates with regional tax and finance teams across jurisdictions and contributes to process standardization, automation, ERP enhancements, and continuous improvement.

Manages assigned industrial adhesives and tapes accounts or territory to achieve sales objectives. Develops customer relationships, applies effective selling skills, manages forecasts, and consistently meets or exceeds sales targets with periodic supervision. Escalates complex situations when additional expertise is needed and contributes to 3M’s Environmental Health and Safety culture by following policies, identifying hazards, and supporting continuous improvement.

Plans finished-goods replenishment to meet service-level, inventory, and cost targets. Executes purchasing plans, maintains planning parameters and master data, manages supply exceptions, monitors receipts and transfers, and coordinates with demand planning, manufacturing, imports, warehouses, and customer service. The role drives inventory and fulfillment KPIs, supports S&OP and product launches, communicates supply risks, performs root-cause analysis, and leads continuous improvement initiatives.

Develops and supports electronics applications by identifying customer needs, testing 3M solutions, supporting new product introductions, conducting competitive analysis, and providing technical presentations and training. The role specifies products for OEMs and Tier suppliers, supports manufacturing transitions, manages lab infrastructure planning, creates technical collateral, and provides sales and customer support. Requires strong collaboration with global engineering, product development, sales, marketing, and customer teams, with 25–35% domestic travel.
