Manage peer-review and editorial decisions for a large portfolio of journals from submission to acceptance, coordinate reviewers and authors, commission content, support special issues, collaborate with global colleagues, and contribute to workflow optimization and cross-functional projects in scholarly publishing.

Build and maintain Workday, Crunchr, and other People-system integrations; create custom Workday reports and calculated fields; automate recurring reporting and data-management processes; perform data extraction, transformation, validation, and delivery; troubleshoot integrations and reporting issues; document processes; and ensure accurate workforce data across systems. Manage day-to-day peer review and editorial office services for a portfolio of journals. Monitor editor and vendor performance against KPIs, analyze data to identify improvements, optimize workflows, support new tools adoption, document processes, handle escalations and integrity concerns, and collaborate across teams to drive timely, high-quality editorial decisions and author experience.

Serve as the CEO's right hand to manage the CEO agenda, prepare board and executive materials, lead cross-functional strategic initiatives, synthesize research and briefing materials, build relationships across the ELT, and advise on organizational priorities. Drive enterprise planning, track strategic project progress, remove roadblocks, and represent the CEO on key workstreams while operating through influence and discretion.

Own production NLP enrichment systems for scientific literature at scale. Build pipelines extracting entities, classifications, claims, and summaries; compare classical NLP, embeddings, and LLM approaches; develop evaluations and golden datasets; and ship reliable, cost-efficient Python systems. Collaborate with data engineers using Airflow and Dagster, contribute to agentic AI applications, and partner with editors, product managers, and engineers to translate modeling needs into product outcomes.

Build and maintain robust automated test suites in JavaScript/TypeScript across UI, API, and integration layers. Perform white-box testing, write and debug SQL, automate browser flows with Selenium, integrate tests into CI, collaborate on design/code reviews, investigate failures, and help define test strategy and quality gates.

Support global intercompany accounting close activities, reconciliations, journal entries, netting, and issue resolution. Coordinate with counterparts to clear variances, prepare reports and audit documentation, and contribute to process standardization and ASC transitions.

Manage specialized product sales in assigned market segments, deliver technical demos, build customer relationships, develop go-to-market strategies, mentor juniors, support pricing and proposals, attend industry events, and coordinate with product and customer success teams to drive revenue and product adoption.
