The Senior Product Safety Engineer II defines and implements functional safety concepts, manages safety plans, and collaborates with teams to ensure compliance with safety standards.

Design, operate, and scale ML data and training pipelines for autonomous driving. Build distributed training, orchestration, CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code; maintain data/metadata stores and tooling to support large-scale model training and evaluation across cloud and cluster environments.

The Senior Data Scientist will develop metrics for evaluating autonomous vehicle performance, analyze data, collaborate across teams, and communicate findings to improve safety and passenger experience.

Lead a team of safety engineers to define and execute AV safety strategy across development, simulation, testing, and deployment. Apply UL4600/ISO standards, develop safety cases, set safety metrics (SPI), manage safety plans and artifacts, train engineers, and coordinate with partners and stakeholders to validate ML models and ADS integration for safe public-road operation.

Lead cross-functional program management for one or more autonomous vehicle platforms. Set timelines, manage budgets, identify dependencies and risks, coordinate stakeholders across Safety, Engineering, Autonomy, Manufacturing, Quality and Operations, and drive programs from product definition through launch while prioritizing safety and quality.

Lead definition, optimization, and validation of next-generation autonomous vehicle capabilities. Define and manage system-level requirements, design scenario-based tests in simulation and on-road, analyze real-world and simulation data, close coverage gaps, build KPI-driven reporting, and drive continuous improvement across cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and robust validation coverage.

Responsible for month-end close, account reconciliations, adjusting journal entries, and financial statement support. Researches transactions and ensures proper US GAAP/ASC 606 treatment. Partners with vendors and cross-functional teams on inventory and bill-of-materials tracking, supports audits, improves ERP processes, and provides analytical forecasting, reporting, and internal controls support.

Lead vision, strategy, and technical roadmap for Behavior & Controls. Drive advances in MPDM, data-driven policies, simulations, learned reward functions, and control. Manage and grow engineering teams, set KPIs, coordinate cross-functionally, triage production issues, and deliver autonomy performance improvements.

Investigate fleet issues and perform root-cause analysis using vehicle logs; curate datasets; create and run simulation scenarios; report findings to autonomy teams; build documentation and knowledge base; support testing and escalation to improve AV safety and functionality.

Design end-to-end in-vehicle and vehicle-to-cloud communication architectures, including Ethernet, CAN/CAN-FD, LIN, and TSN. Architect OTA, telematics, SOA and middleware (Classic/Adaptive AUTOSAR, SOME/IP), ensure functional safety and cybersecurity compliance, evaluate trade-offs, perform FMEA, and collaborate with systems, software, and OEM partners to deliver secure, scalable AV communication systems.
