Leads a multidisciplinary team of mechanical and nuclear analysts supporting radioisotope power system development. Oversees structural, thermal, and nuclear analysis quality, workload allocation, technical risk assessment, engineering workflows, and cross-functional collaboration. Designs, tests, and manufactures electrical components for radioisotope power systems. Responsibilities include control systems, power distribution and conversion, battery systems, data communications, test racks, data acquisition, sensors, documentation, supplier design reviews, and hands-on hardware work. The role collaborates across electrical, mechanical, thermal, structural, and nuclear engineering teams and requires in-office work in Seattle three days weekly with less than 10% travel.

Supports corporate governance, contract intake and negotiation, contract lifecycle management, transaction documentation, diligence data rooms, export control compliance, intellectual property matters, employment and litigation support, and legal operations. Maintains corporate records, templates, trackers, deadlines, and filing processes while working with senior leadership, counterparties, and outside counsel in a fast-paced startup environment.

Support two or more Seattle-based executives by managing complex calendars, scheduling, travel, events, agendas, briefings, and leadership materials. Maintain confidentiality, coordinate executive priorities, track action items, support board meetings and VIP events, and follow up on initiatives. The role requires strong communication, organization, discretion, attention to detail, and cross-functional coordination. It is in-office in Seattle three days weekly, with up to 10% travel.

The Accountant will manage accounts payable and receivable, invoice processing, bank and general ledger reconciliations, purchasing support, financial statements, internal and external audit assistance, budgeting, forecasting, payroll processing, expense reimbursements, and tax reconciliations.

Lead technical project planning and control for radioisotope power system space projects. Develop and manage resource-loaded schedules, enforce baseline schedule and cost control, coordinate stakeholders (DOE, government, contractors), support procurement, and oversee contractor/supplier performance through design, test, and launch integration.

Serve as lead counsel for U.S. government and commercial contracting matters: draft, review, negotiate, and manage prime contracts, subcontracts, OTAs, CRADAs, SBIR/STTR, NDAs; develop contracting playbooks, compliance frameworks (FAR/DFARS, ITAR/EAR, CUI), support IP/patent efforts, advise business stakeholders, manage outside counsel, and support proposal and contract administration in a fast-paced startup.

Lead systems engineering for radioisotope power systems: develop and manage requirements, design documentation (ConOps, ICDs), configuration management, verification and test plans, cross-functional coordination, trade studies, and regulatory/code adherence.

The Senior Systems Engineer will manage requirements, create documents, coordinate with teams, and ensure systems engineering methodologies are followed for nuclear battery technology development.

The Chief of Staff will support the CEO and leadership team by driving operational excellence, overseeing special projects, supporting investor relations, and conducting market assessments to help scale Zeno Power's growth.
