Summer MBA fellowship to analyze and articulate the value of digital newsletters. Conduct competitive and audience analysis, evaluate emerging (including AI-assisted) tools, synthesize findings, and produce strategic recommendations that inform POLITICO's newsletter product and audience strategies.

Edit breaking news, newsletters, enterprise stories, live blogs, and long-form content for consumer and professional audiences. Fact-check and copy edit articles in the content management system, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to POLITICO and AP style. Optimize content for digital platforms and search, review multimedia and headlines, and collaborate with reporters and editorial teams. Provide flexible editing support during breaking news, major events, special projects, and staffing gaps.

Prospect for new business opportunities, research potential clients, conduct inbound and outbound outreach, schedule qualified meetings, prepare Account Executives for sales discussions, and support prospects throughout the evaluation process, including trial management. The role focuses on generating revenue for POLITICO’s Professional Subscriptions team and delivering a strong client experience.

Support POLITICO Pro and E&E News subscribers through inbound assistance, technical troubleshooting, onboarding, product adoption, engagement monitoring, feedback collection, relationship building, retention efforts, and identification of account growth opportunities. The role collaborates with Customer Success and Account Management teams and is based in Arlington, Virginia.

Provide inbound customer support and technical troubleshooting for POLITICO Pro and E&E News subscribers; onboard and adopt new users; monitor engagement and account health; gather customer feedback; build relationships and identify growth opportunities to support retention and expansion.

Serve as a strategic HR advisor to senior editorial leaders, driving workforce planning, performance management, employee relations, onboarding, and talent initiatives. Partner with TA, Total Rewards, HR Ops and Finance to align headcount, compensation and succession planning. Manage operational HR processes, document employee relations matters, use people analytics for retention, and implement scalable solutions for newsroom needs.

Provide substantive legal support across employment, data privacy, commercial contracts, IP, and litigation. Conduct legal research, draft memoranda and guidance, assist with privacy compliance (U.S. and EU), manage contracts and due diligence, support litigation document review, and help with project coordination and legal file maintenance under attorney supervision.

Manage digital client campaigns end-to-end: book, monitor, optimize, report, and bill. Serve as primary client POC, coordinate with internal teams (Ad Ops, Sales), build orders in the OMS, collect assets, recommend optimizations and upsell opportunities, and support special projects.

Lead paid and full-funnel growth campaigns to acquire first-party audiences and qualified leads across POLITICOs revenue lines. Plan, buy, and optimize paid media (Google, Meta, LinkedIn, programmatic), use AI tools for campaign testing and optimization, analyze attribution and funnel metrics, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive market- and product-specific growth.

Edit multi-camera podcast recordings into polished YouTube shows and social clips, incorporate graphics, b-roll and audio, collaborate with hosts and reporters, pitch creative ideas, and meet production schedules to grow audience engagement.
