Analyze embedded systems and communication protocols, diagnose issues, optimize performance, and contribute to system architecture within a cross-functional aerospace engineering team.

Develop and maintain integrated vehicle simulators that combine simulated and hardware environments for testing on-vehicle software. Responsibilities include architecting simulation software, improving simulation accuracy, performance, and reliability, adapting simulations to new aircraft designs, and supporting simulator users across the organization. The role requires strong C++ expertise, Linux and CI/CD knowledge, and collaboration with software and hardware engineering teams.

Develop and maintain Python-based test automation infrastructure for aerospace electronics manufacturing. Build test stations, hardware-in-the-loop integrations, equipment drivers, backend services, web UIs, database schemas, and CI/CD tooling. Collaborate with software, hardware, and manufacturing teams to automate acceptance procedures and ensure deterministic, FAA-compliant production testing. The role also requires networking, async programming, protocol integration, test strategy development, technical leadership, mentorship, and support for existing manufacturing stations.

Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, equipment, workstations, and production line layouts for prototype and production builds. Own strategic and tactical sourcing for PCBAs, FPCAs, and electronic components. Lead RFQs, contract negotiations, supplier selection, category strategy, cost reduction, supplier performance, and supply continuity. Partner with engineering, quality, manufacturing, finance, legal, planning, and supplier industrialization teams on DFM reviews, technical discussions, demand alignment, corrective actions, and program delivery. Ensure materials meet cost, quality, and schedule requirements in an aviation manufacturing environment.
