Collaborates with actuarial, data, finance, claims, and legal teams to monitor liability trends, vendor performance, KPIs, compliance, and process improvements.

Investigate complex total-loss claims, determine coverage eligibility, assess vehicle damage and costs, interview customers, evaluate evidence, negotiate resolutions, and handle escalations or arbitration recommendations. The role requires independent judgment, policy interpretation, empathetic communication, claim inventory management, and participation in process improvement initiatives and special projects.

Leads Turo’s global tax function, initially rebuilding indirect tax operations and expanding into tax strategy, compliance, planning, and leadership. Oversees marketplace facilitator taxes, sales and use tax, VAT/GST, income tax compliance, ASC 450 reserves, ASC 740 provisions, transfer pricing, audits, tax controversy, and international regulatory developments. Partners with Finance, Legal, Accounting, FP&A, Product, and Engineering while developing the tax team and advising executives on growth, expansion, product, and M&A decisions.

Lead Turo’s global total rewards strategy across compensation, benefits, equity, pay structures, job architecture, and executive compensation. Manage a team of three and advise senior leadership on merit cycles, promotions, headcount planning, pay equity, transparency, and compliance. Oversee US and Canadian benefits programs while partnering with Finance, Legal, and HR Business Partners. The role requires scaling rewards programs in a high-growth technology environment and supporting market benchmarking, equity administration, and strategic workforce planning.

Develop and ship backend product features for a high-scale mobility marketplace. Responsibilities include writing, testing, reviewing, and deploying maintainable code; improving scalable architecture; building diagnostic tools; documenting technical designs; and collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams. The role requires strong computer science fundamentals and backend experience with databases, distributed systems, search, or streaming technologies.

Leads Turo Australia’s full-funnel marketing strategy across guest demand and host supply. Owns brand positioning, performance marketing, marketplace growth, team development, agency and partnership management, stakeholder alignment, marketing budgets, P&L accountability, and campaign analytics. The role balances supply-demand dynamics, optimizes acquisition and retention, manages global relationships, partners with finance and legal, and reports business performance to leadership.

Manage subrogation claims by investigating recovery potential, preparing documentation, negotiating settlements, coordinating with attorneys and collection agencies, maintaining records and diaries, meeting KPIs, and contributing to process improvements within the claims team.

Leads Turo’s business development and strategic partnerships strategy, identifying, negotiating, and scaling partnerships that drive profitable growth and customer acquisition. Oversees partnership performance, financial metrics, reporting, executive relationships, partner launches, and cross-functional integrations with Product, Engineering, Marketing, PR, and Legal. Manages a team of partnership professionals, builds scalable processes, represents Turo externally, and shapes the company’s mobility and car ownership strategy.
