Collaborate across software, autonomy, electrical, systems, and test engineering teams while delivering reliable aerospace products.

Develop and lead architecture, development, integration, and testing of safety-critical C++ run-time assurance software for autonomous aircraft. Ensure real-time performance, fail-safe behavior, software quality, certification readiness, and compliance with airworthiness standards. Collaborate across autonomy and middleware teams, create assurance artifacts, establish disciplined development practices, and mentor engineers.

Leads the technical development of a new aircraft program from requirements and architecture through design, integration, testing, and production. Owns air vehicle technical integrity, system-level engineering trades, risk reduction, supplier coordination, manufacturing transition, and multidisciplinary engineering execution across aerodynamics, structures, propulsion, avionics, flight controls, and related systems. Provides hands-on technical leadership, mentors engineers, drives design decisions, and ensures aircraft performance, producibility, reliability, and mission success.

Design and maintain C++ and Python software for complex cross-platform systems. Develop APIs, messaging interfaces, CI/CD workflows, and automated tests while integrating distributed real-time systems, simulation tools, and third-party hardware and software. Debug system-level issues involving threading, timing, and data flow, contribute to architecture, and collaborate across teams. The role requires active Secret clearance and supports potential progression to TS/SCI clearance.

Develop and edit external communications (press releases, social, op-eds), support media and executive outreach, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, draft thought leadership, monitor industry/news, and provide administrative support for communications and marketing initiatives focused on defense and AI/autonomy.

Leads the Operations and Sustainment organization for Hivemind software and VIDAR hardware products. Builds deployment, integration, training, documentation, sustaining engineering, testing, technical support, and operational excellence functions. Establishes scalable processes, metrics, governance, and service standards while coordinating Engineering, Customer Success, Program Management, and field teams. Ensures customer issues are resolved effectively, operational feedback informs product improvements, and deployed systems remain reliable and mission-ready throughout their lifecycle.

Owns the architecture of Hivemind Forge, an AI development ecosystem for building, training, evaluating, optimizing, and deploying autonomous capabilities. Defines system, software, data, API, SDK, MLOps, simulation, and deployment architectures across cloud, HPC, on-premises, classified, and disconnected environments. Establishes traceability, provenance, reproducibility, security, and human oversight for AI-assisted workflows while guiding cross-functional engineering teams and resolving architectural issues.
