Own and maintain the Ubuntu-based embedded Linux firmware stack for a Qualcomm QRB5165 drone platform. Maintain Yocto/BitBake build system, optimize CI/CD Jenkins pipelines, perform rootfs post-processing and OS hardening, configure systemd/networking/udev for headless devices, remediate security findings, implement monitoring integrations, and tune reliability and boot performance for ARM64 embedded hardware.

Develops and executes integration, qualification, and acceptance tests for UAS software and electromechanical systems. Creates test plans, procedures, automated scripts, and reports; troubleshoots prototypes; authors discrepancy reports; maintains PLM traceability; and collaborates with engineers and product managers to ensure safe, compliant drone performance.

Design, develop, and test brushless motor propulsion and ESC power electronics for UAVs. Tasks include motor driver selection, ESC PCB/layout design, motor-controller integration, PID tuning, bench and flight testing, data acquisition, failure analysis, and cross-functional collaboration on thermal, vibration, and safety features.

Lead design, implementation, tuning, validation, and operational readiness of UAV guidance, navigation, and control systems. Own control architecture, autopilot workflows (PX4), flight test planning/execution, state estimation and sensor fusion, embedded integration, cross-functional collaboration, mentoring, and establishment of GNC development and validation best practices.
