Advise engineering, product, and business teams on patentability, risk mitigation, design-around strategies, and intellectual property decisions. Manage outside counsel and international patent matters while supporting IP-related agreements and commercial transactions.

Own system-level integration, validation, troubleshooting, and optimization of 3D printer platforms from prototype through mass production. Integrate mechanical, electrical, firmware, software, thermal, motion, and manufacturing subsystems; lead bring-up, root-cause investigations, validation, reliability, calibration, and issue resolution. Partner with engineering, quality, manufacturing, supplier, and operations teams to improve print performance, product reliability, manufacturability, production readiness, and manufacturing yield.

Lead a small UX visual design team to create pixel-perfect, cross-platform visuals and a cohesive visual design system. Collaborate across UX, research, product, engineering, and marketing; participate in the full user-centered design process; mentor designers; maintain brand integrity; and deliver implementation-ready designs that simplify complex interactions.

Design intuitive desktop and mobile user experiences for consumer-facing software, collaborate cross-functionally, participate in user research and A/B testing, create prototypes, evolve UX language and systems, and manage multiple projects to deliver cohesive hardware-software experiences.
