Responsibilities include architecture concepts, subsystem and payload design, requirements development and traceability, CONOPS, risk analysis, interface management, and technical coordination across engineering, manufacturing, program management, vendors, and customers.

Perform complex mixed-signal PCB layouts for aerospace power, digital, and RF electronics, including designs operating up to 30 GHz. Manage Altium component libraries, schematic symbols, footprints, drawings, release packages, BOMs, and document templates. Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers while handling schematic capture, design reviews, and multiple concurrent tasks. The role requires advanced PCB manufacturing knowledge, including blind vias, microvias, high-density layouts, and complex stackups.

Leads electronic, electrical, and electromechanical component engineering for commercial space systems. Responsibilities include component selection, qualification, screening, derating, supplier evaluation, failure analysis, performance verification, obsolescence mitigation, parts planning, ECO review, and compliance assessment. The role interfaces with customers, design, reliability, and quality teams; authors technical documents; supports aerospace programs; conducts cost analysis and supplier audits; and provides technical leadership and mentorship.

Design, verify, test, validate, and deploy FPGA circuits and systems at the HDL level for aerospace and space platforms. Develop high-speed serial interfaces, data streams, digital processing cores, multi-clock systems, and management interfaces. Present design reviews to customers and executives, contribute to proposals, and support laboratory testing and system qualification.

Leads budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, financial modeling, scenario analysis, management reporting, and performance analysis. Partners with finance, operations, program leaders, and executives to evaluate results, resource needs, investments, risks, and business performance. Responsibilities include trade studies, design reviews, modeling, simulations, hardware testing and flight operations, trajectory and orbital requirement definition, and failure recovery planning. The engineer contributes across mission lifecycles and supports satellite development in a cross-functional startup environment.
