The role also builds scalable processes, documentation, and a high-performing compliance organization while partnering with engineering, product, manufacturing, quality, legal, and go-to-market teams.

Develop and optimize scalable backend services, APIs, and infrastructure supporting acquisition funnels, e-commerce, membership growth, and experimentation. Write tested Java code, collaborate cross-functionally, contribute to architecture and code reviews, and deliver sprint commitments. Partner with data scientists and analytics engineers to measure performance and support growth initiatives.

Lead wholesale partnerships and market expansion across the UK and Ireland. Responsibilities include retailer pipeline development, outreach, proposals, negotiations, onboarding, contract execution, relationship management, commercial strategy, assortment and inventory planning, forecasting, sales reporting, and cross-functional coordination with marketing, finance, operations, and legal teams. The role owns regional sales targets, retailer communications, and strategies to grow WHOOP’s membership base.

Design, train, test, optimize, and deploy machine-learning and deep-learning models using time-series and biosensor data. Develop robust inference systems for constrained edge and cloud environments, monitor algorithm performance and data quality, support regulated health-feature documentation, and conduct applied research. Collaborate with data science, firmware, and engineering teams to translate research prototypes into scalable production features for wearable technology.

Develop, test, and deploy scalable internal software, APIs, data pipelines, automations, and integrations supporting business operations. Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics, Membership Services, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions. Maintain systems including NetSuite, Salesforce, Stripe, and Boomi, while improving reliability, security, and performance. Contribute to engineering best practices and mentor engineers across teams.

Designs and scales high-fidelity security detections across cloud, identity, endpoint, network, and application environments. Develops Detection-as-Code rules aligned with MITRE ATT&CK, translates threat intelligence into detections, and validates coverage through adversary emulation. Tunes alerts, reduces false positives, automates enrichment and triage, tracks detection KPIs, supports incident investigations, participates in on-call rotations, and partners with engineering, infrastructure, product, IT, and GRC teams. Applies analytics and machine learning to improve detection fidelity and investigation workflows.

Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Java, Kafka, PostgreSQL, and AWS. Collaborate with product, design, data science, and engineering teams to deliver scalable features. Write tested code, participate in reviews, monitor production systems, troubleshoot issues, document solutions, and contribute to reliability and performance improvements.

Provides strategic administrative support to executive leaders by managing complex calendars, travel, expenses, meetings, offsites, communications, and action items. The role anticipates executive needs, handles confidential information, coordinates cross-functional collaboration, and improves administrative processes. It requires strong organization, communication, judgment, discretion, and proficiency with Google Workspace, collaboration, expense management, and AI tools.
