Boeing seeks motivated students for a 10-12 week paid Summer 2027 internship in Information Digital Technology & Security. Interns work with mentors on real engineering and IT projects across areas like software development, data analytics, cybersecurity, systems integration, and UX, gain facility exposure, networking, and professional development. Roles may be virtual, hybrid, or onsite and can require security clearance or US Person status.

Design, develop, and implement relational and object-oriented databases, parsers, and loading tools. Define long- and short-term database administration and design requirements from project inception to completion. Build complex queries, scripts, and macros; optimize data flow, storage, retrieval, retention, security, and performance. Integrate Open Database Connectivity and cloud methodologies and support RF signal processing application needs.

Manage material requirements, release and control purchase/production orders, and optimise inventory across multi-site operations. Resolve delinquencies, lead audits and process improvements, coordinate stakeholders and suppliers, support new business readiness, and report SCM performance metrics.

The Structural Analysis Engineer will conduct stress analyses of aircraft structures, verify integrity using analytical methods, and support testing and supplier activities.

Support migration and deployment of COTS enterprise applications to cloud, develop and maintain Terraform IaC, integrate edge compute, manage vendor licensing and internet egress, standardize dev/test/prod environments, and optimize cloud performance to meet vendor benchmarks while collaborating with DevSecOps, SRE, security, and IT teams.

Support program software quality across development and supplier products: define/maintain processes, perform audits, plan and verify testing, support configuration management, drive corrective actions, participate in reviews, and report quality metrics to reduce risk and ensure compliance with standards.

Develop requirements, run simulations, execute lab/range validation, direct design trade studies, collaborate across disciplines, support suppliers/customers, produce technical documentation, and support product lifecycle and proposals.

Lead and manage systems engineering, specialty engineering, integration, and verification activities using MBSE. Oversee program integration, technical approaches, and team development; coordinate across IPTs and stakeholders, drive process improvements, and ensure design compliance. Requires active U.S. Secret clearance and up to 10% travel.

Prepare and maintain operations documentation, user guides, manuals, and technical publications. Gather technical information, write and edit technical copy, coordinate layout and design, and produce reports and briefings. Work with developers to create documentation and training materials, maintain an internal documentation library, and support all phases of documentation for intelligence and analytics programs.
