As a Wireless Software Engineer, you will enhance Skydio's autonomous drone wireless capabilities by developing and optimizing software for wireless communication systems, including WLAN and cellular protocols, to ensure robust connectivity in challenging environments.

Respond to inbound federal, military, and defense leads; qualify prospects; run transactional deals end-to-end including quoting and procurement support; coordinate with account executives, field reps, resellers, and program managers; maintain CRM accuracy; attend events and travel to capture leads; improve workflows for qualification, quoting, and handoffs.

Design, review, and build security systems for Skydio's cloud and corporate environments. Drive architecture and hands-on engineering for tooling (WAF, vuln management), harden production components, improve monitoring/patching, support identity/auth systems (SSO/SCIM), translate compliance requirements into controls, and participate in on-call rotation.

Build automation and internal tooling to enforce security controls across multi-tenant cloud and corporate environments. Integrate identity and cloud systems, SCIM provisioning, vulnerability scanners, and ticketing systems to automate evidence collection, compliance reporting, remediation, dashboards, and vulnerability management. Contribute to system design, hardening, on-call rotation, and partner with engineering teams on security- significant architectural decisions.

Design, review, and build security systems for multi-tenant cloud and corporate environments. Develop internal security tooling (WAF, vulnerability management), harden production components, improve monitoring/patching, contribute to authentication/identity (SSO/SCIM), translate compliance controls, and participate in the security on-call rotation.

Provide technical support and enablement to international defense and government customers using Skydio UAS. Troubleshoot hardware, software, controller, connectivity, and cloud issues; manage cases, triage and escalate; capture Voice of Customer feedback; collaborate with product and engineering; support operational readiness and fleet utilization. Occasional travel required.

As a Staff Software Engineer, you will design and build cloud systems for autonomous drone operations, integrating complex data models and managing large fleets. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical leadership while maintaining system reliability.

Design and implement wireless RF solutions across multiple bands, define system requirements, diagnose desense and noise coupling, support PCB/layout and integration, and lead end-to-end product qualification, certification, and production testing.

Serve as a Workday functional administrator focused on Payroll, Time Tracking, or Time Off & Absence. Configure systems, build custom reports and calculated fields, manage mass data loads via EIBs, support releases and testing, provide tier-2 support, and partner with Finance, IT, and People teams to translate requirements and ensure data integrity.

Design and own end-to-end curriculum architecture for sUAS training: perform task analysis, write performance-based objectives, build course maps, design assessments and certifications, partner with SMEs and engineers, enable instructors, expand simulation/immersive learning, apply AI-assisted workflows, and track learning effectiveness.
