The Business Development Representative researches target companies, identifies relevant contacts, and conducts outreach through email, LinkedIn, and phone. The role educates prospects about Showpad’s sales enablement solution, qualifies leads, schedules sales meetings, collaborates with Sales and Marketing, and works toward monthly sales targets. It is designed as an entry point into broader sales, customer success, and marketing career opportunities.

Manage strategic enterprise accounts, achieve revenue targets, identify expansion opportunities, build qualified pipelines, forecast sales, negotiate contracts, lead account planning, and develop lasting client relationships. The role involves selling software solutions to C-level stakeholders, leading RFPs, coordinating internal technical and customer success teams, and reporting on market and competitor intelligence.

Build and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, cloud-native microservices, and serverless workflows using Node.js, TypeScript, or Go. Own features from technical design through testing and production deployment, contribute to code reviews and mentoring, improve observability and operational standards, and optimize storage, database, and network performance.

Partner with finance leadership to lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting. Build and maintain financial models for revenue, headcount, and OPEX, drive actionable insights, ensure data accuracy, and collaborate cross-functionally to support strategic and operational decisions for a SaaS business.

Generates qualified sales leads by researching target companies, identifying contacts, and conducting outreach through email, LinkedIn, and phone. Qualifies prospects, schedules sales meetings, educates prospects on Showpad’s sales enablement platform, collaborates with Sales and Marketing, and works toward monthly sales targets.

Owns executive and board-level marketing reporting, dashboards, funnel and pipeline measurement, attribution, and revenue insights. Integrates data from Salesforce, Marketo, GA4, product, ABM, and finance systems; establishes governance and validation processes; and troubleshoots discrepancies. Uses AI tools to automate recurring reporting and data preparation while maintaining accuracy. Conducts diagnostic, cohort, segmentation, and spend-efficiency analyses, partnering with Marketing, Revenue Operations, Sales, Finance, and IT.

Sell Showpad's revenue enablement platform to commercial and enterprise accounts. Prospect and generate pipeline, consult with buyers, team-sell with BDRs and SEs, negotiate pricing, close new logos, and engage C-level and cross-functional stakeholders to align the solution to buyer priorities.

Build AI-powered backend features using large language models, serverless event-driven systems, APIs, and microservices. Develop third-party integrations, improve engineering processes, and make technical and product decisions focused on reliability, scalability, security, and user value. Collaborate through code reviews and pair programming, mentor engineers, and contribute across the full software development lifecycle in an agile environment.

Lead the unified data intelligence layer for a revenue intelligence product: define canonical entity models, choose retrieval and inference strategies (search, RAG, vectors, graphs), own RAG pipelines and evaluation metrics, drive roadmap for Deal Health and Winning Behavior models, enable platform primitives and data contracts, and translate technical ML infrastructure into business value through customer discovery and cross‑team collaboration.

Manage a portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts to achieve revenue targets through upselling, cross-selling, prospecting, pipeline development, forecasting, contract negotiation, and account planning. Build executive-level client relationships, lead RFPs, coordinate internal technical and customer success teams, promote Showpad’s platform, and provide market and competitor intelligence.
