As an Aerodynamics Engineer II at Relativity Space, you will play a key role in shaping vehicle products by helping to solve interdisciplinary design challenges involving Aerodynamics. Responsibilities include planning and executing wind tunnel test campaigns, constructing aerodynamic databases, executing CFD analyses, and collaborating with hardware engineers.

The Senior Fluids Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the mechanical and structural implementation of the stage fluid systems for our Terran R launch vehicle. They will work on fluids routing, design trade studies, hardware mounting structure design, and incorporate 3D printing methods into their designs. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, at least 4 years of mechanical design experience, proficiency in commercial CAD packages, and experience with GD&T and FEA analysis.

Responsible for layout, design, analysis, and build of hardware for Aeon-R propulsion systems. Collaborate with propulsion teams, vehicle team, manufacturing/integration teams, and test teams. Use CAD software and apply fluid dynamics and structural analysis. Experience with large CAD model management and finite element analysis is preferred.
