Leads a data platform engineering team while contributing approximately 50% hands-on technical work. Responsibilities include designing and coding data infrastructure, managing Spark and Iceberg systems, operating Kafka streaming architecture, driving lakehouse tooling decisions, improving governance and observability, setting technical roadmaps, hiring and developing engineers, and coordinating with stakeholders. As a Senior Technical Support Engineer, you will resolve technical issues for customers using FloQast's Accounting Platform, involving collaboration with teams and hands-on troubleshooting.

Own product strategy and execution for FloQast's SAP integration. Design end-to-end connectivity and data mappings (ABAP, oData, BTP), translate SAP FI-CO processes into product requirements, partner with Engineering and customers, support deployments across SAP environments, and drive adoption and GTM messaging to expand FloQast usage in SAP-run accounting teams.

Provide hands-on technical support for FloQast integrations, owning L1–L3 cases, troubleshooting APIs and authentication, configuring customer environments, using tools like Postman and log/session replay, collaborating cross-functionally, contributing knowledge-base articles, and driving successful integration outcomes for customers.

Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial statement prep. Account for internal-use software (ASC 350-40), commissions (ASC 340-40), leases (ASC 842), and sales tax. Maintain GL, manage OPEX allocations, corporate credit card reconciliations, SOX controls, and audit support. Leverage NetSuite, FloQast, AI tools, and reporting platforms to drive process improvements and ensure US GAAP compliance.

Drive technical strategy, partner with Product and Design to translate goals into roadmaps, and mentor senior engineers to raise engineering standards across workflow orchestration and platform APIs.
