Support monthly income tax provision for unregulated businesses: prepare and review tax calculations, journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting schedules. Perform analyses, research tax accounting issues, document processes and controls, support audits, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely tax reporting and issue resolution.

Supervise income tax accounting, SEC tax reporting, tax forecasting, and regulatory filings for the MPC registrant and support Southern Company Gas. Review and approve tax entries, reconciliations, and SEC workpapers; research and resolve tax accounting issues; coordinate auditor requests; lead forecasting models; provide regulatory tax calculations and stakeholder presentations. Manage 2 direct reports and provide coaching, cross-training, and technical guidance.

Support SCM governance, compliance, and risk monitoring; coordinate cross-functional projects and controls testing; manage policies, reporting, audit responses, training, and remediation to strengthen SCM processes and operational effectiveness.

Lead statewide economic development efforts to generate new business, produce leads, build senior client relationships, plan and execute marketing/events, recommend sites, conduct site tours, mentor junior staff, and drive project revenue and sales strategy in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
