Lead and grow the DefenseOS engineering organization to build WarshipOS. Own technical strategy and roadmap across zonal compute, data transport/APIs/SDKs, AI/ML perception and fusion, and SIL/HIL digital-twin testing. Hire and mentor multidisciplinary teams, set engineering best practices (architecture, CI/CD, testing), drive program execution and risk management, and partner with product, Navy customers, and shipbuilders to deliver mission-critical, field-deployed systems.

Design and implement lifelong mapping and localization systems for vehicles, build scalable local/global maps, fuse live sensor data with maps, develop real-time onboard and offboard localization, leverage inertial/GNSS/camera/lidar/radar data, and continuously improve performance using large-scale, data-driven methods.

Lead development and deployment of high-performance motion planning modules for autonomous vehicles. Mentor engineers, set technical direction, integrate perception, prediction, and lightweight maps, optimize performance, establish testing/validation for production hardware, and manage customer engineering relationships to align deliverables with autonomy goals.

Design and validate automotive-grade compute hardware from concept to production: create schematics, guide PCB layout, collaborate with firmware/software teams, execute test plans, and engage vendors to ensure performance, reliability, and manufacturability of vehicle compute platforms.

Senior individual contributor to define and deliver enterprise IAM strategy: design resilient IDP architecture, enforce Zero Trust and least-privilege, automate identity lifecycle, implement RBAC/PAM/secrets management, enable SSO and authentication protocols, govern access for human and machine identities including AI agents, and partner cross-functionally to meet security and audit requirements.

Manage People data and reporting; optimize HR systems and workflows (Rippling, Carta, Greenhouse, JIRA, PAVE); run rotation and mobility programs; ensure employment law compliance; serve as employee point of contact for benefits, leaves, and time off; produce dashboards and ad-hoc People operations support.

Lead customer engagements and account strategy for enterprise autonomy customers. Manage executive relationships, translate customer needs into engineering priorities, collaborate with sales and product teams, and drive customer success and strategic product opportunities in autonomous vehicle and robotics domains.

Design and implement high-performance backend C++ systems for defense autonomy products. Build scalable, reliable infrastructure for contested environments, collaborate with researchers and customers, own end-to-end delivery, and shape site engineering culture and standards in Ann Arbor.
