Senior Accountant responsible for monthly reconciliations, financial reporting, journal entries, month-end close, cost and margin analysis, variance analysis, audits, internal controls, and process improvements across Shinola and Filson. The role partners with Supply Chain, Operations, Retail, Ecommerce, FP&A, and leadership teams while supporting ERP enhancements and delivering accurate financial insights across retail, ecommerce, and wholesale channels.

The Controller oversees financial reporting, internal controls, compliance, and audit interactions, while managing a team in a multi-entity environment.

Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for the Shinola brand. Produce monthly financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow), build financial models, perform ad hoc analysis and scenario planning, partner with cross-functional leaders, support close processes, and improve ERP/BI reporting and forecasting processes for senior leadership decision-making.

Lead Shinola's direct-to-consumer digital business and ecommerce P&L. Develop Shopify roadmap, optimize site performance and checkout, oversee digital merchandising, promotions, CRO, analytics, and retention. Partner cross-functionally, build a testing culture, and lead a high-performing ecommerce team to drive profitable online growth and improve the omnichannel customer experience.

The Senior Cost Accountant will manage cost accounting processes, conduct variance analyses, support inventory accounting, and drive operational efficiencies within the finance team.
