The HRBP Project Consultant leads HR projects, drives talent management, ensures employee engagement, and partners with business leaders to support organizational goals at Eli Lilly Japan.

Lead sourcing and procurement for major capital projects and category management for engineering, construction, automation, and capital equipment. Develop and execute sourcing strategies, run RFP/due diligence, negotiate contracts, manage supplier relationships and risk, and deliver cost and risk reduction for global manufacturing capital projects.

Leads a global reliability engineering team responsible for production stability, observability, incident response, SLOs, error budgets, compliance, and operational risk. Leads Lilly’s global asset recovery process for surplus, redeployed, and pre-owned manufacturing and laboratory equipment. Owns disposition standards, valuation, systems, compliance, vendor governance, and executive reporting. Maximizes recovery through reuse, resale, donation, or scrap while reducing costs and risks. Partners with manufacturing, engineering, finance, supply chain, quality, environmental, and site leadership on closures, transformations, capital planning, and continuous improvement.

Supports Lilly’s Digital Legal Office GRC team across privacy controls, incident management, control issues, governance documentation, metrics, data quality, and workflow automation. The intern will help maintain services and frameworks, review and escalate risks, track remediation, improve reporting reliability, document requirements, test technology changes, and identify opportunities for AI and process automation in privacy, data protection, and cybersecurity compliance.

Leads global communications and change strategy for Lilly’s two-year employee intranet transformation. Responsibilities include partnering on platform design, developing enterprise change communications, driving adoption across global and deskless employees, establishing editorial and onboarding guidance, coordinating launch readiness, and creating measurement frameworks for awareness, engagement, adoption, and satisfaction. The role collaborates across communications, HR, technology, UX, vendors, and global affiliates, then transitions adoption and measurement programs to ongoing enterprise operations.

Leads scientific data communications for Lilly’s immunology pipeline, developing narrative, congress, publications, executive communications, media relations, and issues-management strategies. Advises senior R&D and therapeutic-area leaders, translates complex clinical data into compelling stories, coordinates cross-functional communications, and manages agencies and external resources. The role requires pharmaceutical or biotech communications experience, immunology expertise, strong media relations, and domestic and international travel of 15–25%.

Leads LillyDirect’s forward-looking Consumer and HCP marketing strategy, growth investments, content briefing, innovation pipeline, competitive intelligence, and partnership alignment. Sets goals, KPIs, budgets, and testing strategies; advises senior leadership on investment priorities and scales successful marketing initiatives. Manages and develops marketing talent while fostering an inclusive, high-performing culture.

Manages daily payment operations for LillyDirect, including chargeback disputes, fraud arbitration, authorization-to-capture monitoring, refunds, payment reconciliation, SAP accounting, discrepancy resolution, reporting, and audit support. Investigates payment and fraud trends, collaborates with finance, customer service, payment providers, and financial institutions, and communicates with patients when refunds fail.
