Leads a cross-functional team developing behavior evaluation, human benchmarking, and behavioral inference capabilities for autonomous vehicles. Designs and deploys production ML models, establishes technical roadmaps, and integrates behavior critics into simulation-based validation, release decisions, and performance monitoring. Partners with autonomy, simulation, safety, and product teams to assess driving behavior against human expectations for safety, comfort, and intuitiveness.

Performs vehicle-seat structural and comfort analysis using FEA, including crashworthiness, impact, anchorage strength, airbag deployment, and pressure distribution studies. Develops FEA plans and models, compares results with performance requirements and physical tests, recommends efficient design solutions, supports engineering changes, and coordinates suppliers and internal teams to meet program milestones.

Leads serviceability engineering for GM Defense vehicles, including service parts BOMs, diagnostic procedures, special tools, technical manuals, and maintenance deliverables. Supports electrical and mechanical components throughout design development, identifies service issues, provides technical direction, and collaborates with engineering, program management, suppliers, remanufacturing, plants, and field-support teams. The role requires practical diagnostic experience, schematic interpretation, technical problem-solving, ITAR compliance, U.S. Person status, and eligibility for a Secret clearance.

Improve simulation release processes, quality strategies, scalability, reliability, and incident management. Build production-quality services, frameworks, and tooling; establish testing and release gates; diagnose systemic bottlenecks and failures; improve performance, monitoring, error attribution, and recovery. Collaborate with simulation, infrastructure, and platform teams to deliver organization-wide improvements in simulation quality, throughput, and operational readiness.

Design and develop backend services, APIs, microservices, integrations, and event-driven solutions for digital commerce and order management. Own testing, CI/CD, deployments, observability, cloud infrastructure, and production reliability using Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes. Troubleshoot incidents, improve security and scalability, apply AI-assisted development practices, mentor engineers, participate in hiring, and communicate technical risks and decisions to stakeholders.

Design, develop, validate, and release mechatronics hardware for vehicle sensing, access, chassis, propulsion, and electronic control systems. Coordinate Product Development Team meetings, suppliers, plant personnel, and cross-functional engineering teams. Manage specifications, interface documents, engineering work orders, timing plans, DFMEA activities, troubleshooting, sourcing support, technical analysis, and product improvements for prototype and production vehicles.
