Drive enterprise sales in Financial Services across the Northeastern US. Manage full sales cycle, build relationships with data and IT executives, present value propositions and demos with SEs, achieve revenue and logo targets, and expand account penetration while traveling to customer sites as needed.

Hunt and close new enterprise accounts (1000+ employees) in the Northeastern US. Lead full sales cycle from prospecting to close, deliver demos and tailored proposals, collaborate with marketing/sales engineering/product, expand existing customers, and travel periodically. Hybrid role (3 days/week in Boston or NYC).

Deliver and architect Apache Airflow implementations on the Astronomer platform for customers. Advise on Airflow best practices, refactor DAGs, optimize workflows and system configuration, prototype solutions, and feed product feedback from client engagements.

Support strategic private-cloud customers to install, operate, and troubleshoot Astronomer/Astro Private Cloud Airflow on-prem environments. Manage monitoring, incident response, root cause analysis, automation for health checks, and relay customer feedback to product teams while maintaining technical expertise.

Design and build Astronomer’s AI-driven context layer for data: implement semantic search, retrieval, embeddings, and code-generation tools; collaborate with R&D and product to productionize LLM-based features at scale and contribute to open-source community.

Build and ship full-stack features for Astro across web, backend services, and APIs. Write, test, and maintain frontend (React/TypeScript) and backend (Go/TypeScript/Python) code, participate in code reviews and on-call rotations, troubleshoot incidents, document work, and collaborate with senior engineers to deliver production-ready software.

Operate, monitor, and maintain Astronomer's managed Airflow platform and underlying cloud/Kubernetes infrastructure. Troubleshoot customer environments, participate in on-call rotation, build monitoring/automation, improve observability, and work directly with customers to meet SLAs and drive reliability.

Provide expert Apache Airflow support to customers, troubleshoot and optimize managed Airflow deployments, work with cloud-native stacks (Kubernetes, containers, major cloud providers), own customer experience and SLAs, participate in on-call rotation and contribute to Airflow open-source and internal reliability projects.

As a Staff Software Engineer, you'll design and scale data infrastructure, focusing on Postgres and cloud offerings while enabling data-driven applications.
