Supports flight operations, airworthiness, safety documentation, risk analysis, technical deliverables, and operational data assessment for experimental aircraft. Partner with recruiters and engineering leaders to define hiring needs, assess candidates, improve hiring outcomes, represent the employer brand, and deliver a strong candidate experience. The role requires independent execution and expertise in sourcing technical hardware engineering talent.

Supports the design, fabrication, integration, troubleshooting, and testing of flight hardware and mechanical subassemblies for next-generation aircraft. Responsibilities include CAD modeling, drawing creation, hardware release, engineering calculations, design reviews, test planning, documentation, and rapid design iteration. The intern collaborates with structures, mechanical, manufacturing, avionics, and test teams in a hands-on development environment.

Supports the design, manufacturing, integration, and testing of flight and test hardware for the Mk 2.3 airframe. Responsibilities include CAD modeling, material selection, design for manufacturing, production transition, tooling and build-process development, structural validation testing, project execution, and cross-functional vehicle integration.

Supports hardware-in-the-loop test benches and real-time simulation environments for flight software and vehicle systems. Responsibilities include configuring and troubleshooting test infrastructure, developing automated tests, expanding regression coverage, maintaining hardware and software configurations, debugging integrated systems, analyzing test results, documenting procedures, and collaborating with flight software and engineering teams.

Develop performant Julia-based 6DOF Software-in-the-Loop simulation code for aerospace systems. Build scalable Monte Carlo simulations and physics-informed models, collaborate with flight software, HMI, and flight sciences teams, validate models against real flight data, optimize real-time performance, participate in testing and code reviews, and document modeling assumptions and validation workflows.

Supports development of flight-critical propulsion components such as valves, actuators, and fluid-control hardware from clean-sheet design through production. Responsibilities include engineering trade studies, analysis, integration, build-test-iterate cycles, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, qualification, reliability and safety evaluation, and transition to production-ready designs. The intern collaborates with propulsion and vehicle teams in hands-on, fast-paced build and test environments.
