The role presents technical material at major program reviews and drives risks, actions, and design decisions to closure.

Own spacecraft electrical power system architecture segments from requirements through verification. Develop power and energy budgets, load-flow and stability analyses, protection coordination, power-quality specifications, and interface control documents. Evaluate supplier designs, lead technical negotiations, support testing and verification, and present at major program reviews. The role also coordinates grounding, bonding, isolation, EMC, and fault protection activities while mentoring junior engineers and communicating technical risks and progress to stakeholders.

Owns Axiom Space’s compensation programs, including salary structures, job leveling, market pricing, annual compensation cycles, executive and Board compensation, equity administration, pay equity analysis, and compliance governance. Partners with HR, Legal, Finance, Talent Acquisition, consultants, and leadership to manage compensation exceptions, equity modeling, public-company reporting support, and compensation projects. The role is an individual-contributor subject matter expert with potential future people-management responsibilities.

Manages comprehensive employee benefits programs, including health, retirement, leave, disability, wellness, and voluntary benefits. Oversees vendors, compliance, renewals, open enrollment, employee inquiries, orientations, reporting, reconciliations, and 401(k) administration. Leads the Benefits Committee and applies agile project management practices, including sprints, status reporting, risk management, and stakeholder coordination. Ensures compliance with ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ADA, and related regulations.

Develop and maintain electrical power system requirements, models, budgets, interfaces, supplier data, configuration records, and verification documentation for Axiom Station. Perform power, energy, voltage-drop, protection, efficiency, dissipation, and transient analyses. Support laboratory testing, data reduction, technical reviews, and action closure while growing toward ownership of requirements, analyses, and interfaces under senior engineering mentorship.

Develop and improve supplier manufacturing capabilities, quality, and delivery performance. Conduct supplier audits, assess readiness, resolve quality issues through root-cause and CAPA processes, drive DFM and lean improvements, monitor supplier metrics, and coordinate corrective actions with engineering, procurement, quality, and program teams. The role requires extensive supplier-site travel and supports manufacturing readiness, risk mitigation, and on-time delivery.

Develop Linux-based DMA platform drivers and low-level kernel drivers for FPGA and SoC architectures. Build and optimize embedded networking stacks for resource-constrained edge platforms, diagnose hardware-software integration issues, contribute to Linux kernel development, and deliver testing, benchmarking, documentation, and technical milestones in collaboration with hardware and cross-functional teams.

Designs and implements a compliant identity ecosystem across cloud, on-premises, and mission systems. Responsibilities include Zero Trust architecture, IAM/IGA lifecycle automation, PAM, export-control enforcement, FIPS-validated cryptography, NIST alignment, threat mitigation using MITRE ATT&CK, and identity telemetry integration.
