Own the strategy, roadmap, governance, backlog, and operational priorities for Caterpillar’s digital experience platforms, including AEM, EDS, Vercel, and Akamai. Partner with engineering, architecture, cybersecurity, marketing, and business teams to improve platform reliability, security, performance, adoption, and author/developer experiences. Manage vendors, licensing, budgets, metrics, incidents, upgrades, and executive reporting while aligning investments with enterprise architecture and digital transformation objectives.

Own the compute, operating system, drivers, middleware, tools, and runtime architecture for autonomy software on NVIDIA Thor edge platforms. Define resource allocation, service orchestration, monitoring, diagnostics, fault recovery, and system integration across perception, robotics, machine interfaces, and data services. Collaborate with safety, cybersecurity, operations, and supplier teams to ensure reliable operation on autonomous construction machines.

Provides worldwide technical support for Caterpillar digital products and telematics connectivity. Manages support cases, performs technical triage and troubleshooting, investigates root causes, documents issues and resolutions, meets service-level agreements, and communicates with customers, dealers, and internal teams. The role also identifies recurring issues and recommends process improvements to strengthen digital support operations.

Own the architecture strategy for construction site scanning and site intelligence. Evaluate robotic, lidar, photogrammetry, drone, imaging, sensor, BIM, and AI technologies; define 3D data requirements and downstream workflows; and recommend build, buy, or partner strategies. The role supports autonomy, simulation, operations, validation, inspections, progress tracking, and customer reporting while collaborating with perception, robotics, field, operations, and technology partners.

Own the architecture for autonomous-machine perception systems, including modular machine learning, camera and point-cloud detection, sensor fusion, object tracking, object persistence, and 3D mapping. Define interfaces for robotics, simulation, world modeling, validation, and safety analysis. Collaborate with edge platform, robotics, and simulation teams to convert perception algorithms into reliable autonomy capabilities for construction and off-road environments.

Leads architecture, development, testing, piloting, and scaling of emerging-technology software solutions. Builds secure, scalable, observable, and production-ready applications using cloud-native architectures, APIs, automation, and AI technologies. Translates business needs into technical designs and roadmaps, evaluates proofs of concept, establishes testing and production-readiness criteria, mitigates technical risks, collaborates across product and security teams, and mentors engineers.

Lead UX/UI design for Caterpillar’s eCommerce products by defining experience vision, creating user-centered artifacts and prototypes, facilitating design workshops, and partnering with product and engineering teams. Coordinate scope, timing, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations; participate in design critiques; review QA builds for design fidelity; and monitor post-launch metrics to drive continuous improvement.

Owns the validation architecture for autonomous robotics systems, including evaluation methodology, metrics, benchmarking, scenario coverage, sim-to-real validation, and simulation requirements. Defines safety and deployment-readiness criteria, leads technology evaluations, develops technical architecture and roadmaps, and collaborates across engineering and simulation teams to validate autonomous machines from simulation through real-world deployment.

Designs and supports enterprise architecture solutions for Global Parts Pricing, translating business requirements into scalable analytics, data, application, automation, cloud, and AI-enabled solutions. Partners with business, IT, analytics, and delivery teams on roadmaps, proofs of concept, implementation, architecture reviews, integrations, testing, troubleshooting, governance, and optimization. Provides technical leadership and communicates recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Own the end-to-end architecture of Caterpillar’s robotics platform, including middleware, runtime, inter-process communication, platform services, and onboard, edge, and cloud computing. Define APIs, standards, reference designs, and real-time execution models used by autonomy, controls, machine learning, simulation, and data teams. Lead technology evaluations, architectural roadmaps, requirements analysis, cross-functional integration, and strategic technical decisions for scalable autonomous machine deployments.
