BAE Systems is looking for a Principal Reliability Engineer to lead RAM activities, perform reliability analysis, and interact with cross-functional teams to enhance electronic systems' reliability and maintainability.

The Principal BIT Engineer designs and develops Built-in Test architecture, oversees testing activities, and supports product development in Electronic Warfare systems.

Support RMF implementation and Cyber Representative by drafting RMF documentation, developing and executing cybersecurity test plans, performing vulnerability scans, documenting test results and SAR inputs, tracking remediation, conducting SIAs, and liaising between engineering and cyber stakeholders to integrate security into system design.

Lead failure analysis and reliability prediction for C4ISR electronics. Diagnose hardware/software failures, maintain FRACAS, run statistical reliability analyses (Weibull, MTBF/MTTR, FMECA), improve testability and maintainability, drive corrective actions with cross-functional teams, and support reliability growth, documentation, and presentations to stakeholders.

Lead and coordinate Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) activities, manage risks, change control, and deliverables, prepare for program reviews, perform technical writing and presentations, and maintain customer and partner relationships while providing team leadership and schedule/risk management for space-based mission systems.

Design and implement embedded software for space payloads (satellite programs). Write C/C++ code, contribute to software architecture, collaborate across disciplines, respond to evolving requirements, and support payload development and integration for RF/space applications.

Lead development, production, and growth of transportable Very Low Frequency (VLF) transmitter programs. Manage cross-functional teams to meet financial, schedule, and technical objectives, support business capture, track risks/opportunities, prepare plans/reports, and ensure programs are delivered on time and within requirements.

Onsite summer internship performing software design, development, and testing using Agile practices. Support integration testing, algorithm and data analysis, troubleshooting, and documentation in Windows/Linux development environments targeting x86 or PowerPC. Participate in company LEAP intern program and collaborate with engineering teams on defense-related electronics projects.

Manage multiple maritime programs within a tactical systems product line, overseeing scope, schedule, budget, risk, and cross-functional coordination. Track financial, schedule, and technical performance, present status to leadership, support new business activities, and drive collaboration across engineering, operations, contracts, and finance to ensure program objectives are met.

Lead technical execution of software for munitions/defense products: design, architecture, implementation, integration, testing, EVMS reporting, team technical leadership, stakeholder communication, and compliance with CMMI, safety, SQA, and cybersecurity processes.
