The Senior Data Analyst will support FP&A, Partnerships, and Product through ad hoc analysis, automated reporting, data transformations, visualization, and actionable insights. Responsibilities include managing the data lifecycle, identifying trends and opportunities, partnering with Data Engineering, and presenting findings to technical and business stakeholders. The role requires advanced SQL, Excel, Python, BI tools, modern data stack experience, finance technology and B2B SaaS expertise, and the ability to solve ambiguous problems independently.

Leads the ISV payments partnership function, building and developing Partner Account Manager teams, expanding the partner ecosystem, and driving partner revenue, adoption, retention, and satisfaction. Owns partnership strategy, commercial negotiations, pricing, renewals, KPIs, and payment capability roadmaps. Collaborates with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, Risk, and Compliance to launch integrations and payment types while representing the company with strategic partners.

Owns strategic relationships with major payments and fintech partners while leading 8am’s embedded finance product agenda. Responsibilities include partner strategy, commercial negotiations, roadmap execution, cross-functional alignment, executive engagement, performance reporting, risk mitigation, and identifying new payment, lending, credit, fraud, and co-marketing opportunities. The role requires senior-level expertise in payments partnerships, embedded finance, financial products, commercial economics, and regulated product launches, with approximately 20% travel.

Design and scale the data platform powering analytics, product insights, and machine learning. Lead data architecture, modeling, ETL, reliability, observability, quality, and query optimization initiatives. Integrate product data sources, support reporting and BI access, improve engineering practices, mentor teammates, and provide technical guidance on platform evolution. Collaborate with product, engineering, and analytics teams to prioritize work, assess impacts, and resolve ecosystem issues.

Operate and improve cloud security, detection, and incident response capabilities. Manage AWS security posture, SIEM and EDR detections, vulnerability remediation, forensic investigations, WAF monitoring, IaC security reviews, and security awareness programs. Support privacy and compliance controls, product security consultations, and security documentation. The role requires independent work across distributed teams and collaboration with engineering, compliance, and U.S.-based security leadership.

Identify and mitigate AI-specific security threats across internal and customer-facing systems. Assess AI use cases, vendors, models, and agentic systems; support governance reviews and monitoring; perform SOC-style alert triage and investigations; improve AI activity detection and logging; document controls for SOC 2, PCI DSS, and AI frameworks; and assist with AI incident response.

Lead the technical security team and day-to-day security program, including security operations, cloud security, detection and response, vulnerability management, metrics, AI security standards, incident response, compliance audits, design reviews, threat intelligence, and fraud or attack investigations.

Leads external audits, technical accounting research, financial statement preparation and consolidation, lender and covenant reporting, variance analysis, internal controls, complex schedules, AI-enabled workflow automation, and accounting process improvements. Partners with FP&A, auditors, lenders, and the Assistant Controller while supporting special projects in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
