Directs the City's Finance Department, overseeing governmental accounting, budgeting, treasury, investments, debt management, payroll, billing, collections, financial reporting, purchasing, pensions, and financial systems. Advises the City Manager and Commission on fiscal policies, forecasts, cash positions, and financial impacts. Supervises department personnel, prepares budgets and long-range plans, ensures regulatory compliance, and coordinates with public agencies, committees, financial institutions, and other city departments.
